War ChildThis documentary depicts the life of a former child soldier of Sudan. He is an emerging international hip hop star with a message of peace for the world. The eye-opening film is inspirational and moving.
Savage GraceThe film is based on a true story, and follows the life of Barbara Daly Baekeland (Moore), a beautiful woman who gives up her life-long dream to marry into a wealthy family. Her relationship with her husband is deeply strained and she finds herself lonely, depressed, and dark. Their son is also deeply disturbed and falls into a life of drugs and sex. When his girlfriend leaves him for his father, he turns to his mother and their relationship reaches a new disturbing level. The film explores incest and murder. Moore’s performance is unsettling and absolutely astonishing.
